wrap it up in frankness
spiritualinspiration:

In our culture today, people are used to getting things right away. We’ve been programmed for immediacy. People don’t like to wait. But the scripture says, “It’s through faith and patience that we inherit God’s promises.” Sometimes, it’s easy for people to have faith. We declare, “God, I believe I’m going to accomplish my dreams. God, I believe I’m going to overcome this obstacle.” But, it gets harder when we have to walk in patience. When you pray, can you say, “God, I not only believe for big things, but I trust Your timing. God, I’m not going to get discouraged if it doesn’t happen immediately. I’m not going to give up because it’s taken a week, a month or five years. I know the set time is already in my future, so I’m going to wait with faith and patience because I know that it’s on the way.”
Remember, through faith and patience we inherit His promises. Trust His Word, trust His timing and trust that your answer is on its way!

spiritualinspiration:

“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose” (Acts 16:25–26, NIV)
Paul and Silas were put in jail for spreading the good news. It wasn’t fair. They were beaten with rods without a trial. It was unjust. As they sat in the prison, bloody, bruised and uncomfortable, they began to sing praises to God. As they were singing praises to God, all of the sudden, there was a great earthquake. The prison doors flung open, the chains fell off, and they walked out as free men. What happened? They praised their way to victory!
Friend, if you’re going to live in victory, you have to know how to praise in your midnight hour — when things seem the darkest, when you’re in pain, disappointed, lonely or experiencing a loss. When you praise Him no matter what, that’s when God can enter your situation. That’s when He can break your chains and set you free!
Remember, a sacrifice of praise is when it costs you something, when you don’t necessarily feel like doing it. Praise Him, not because of how you feel, but because He is worthy! Praise Him in your midnight hour and get ready to embrace the freedom He has planned for you!

Sad Movie 2005

Watch it: Sad Movie FULL

image

Watch the trailer at http://asianwiki.com/Sad_Movie

Apat na kwento ng pag-ibig at kabiguan within one movie. It’s amazing how they did it. Kagaya nitong movie nato. Umikot sa pag-ibig at kabiguan/kasawian.

▬ On-the-rock relationships. But eventually, malalaman ni partner, that these are just alibis. Paglipas ng panahon, habang nagpapakatanga yung isa at tinatry na iworkout yung relationship, yung isa pala nagdi-driftaway na, kasi, MAY IBA NA.

▬ Romantic relationship vs personal commitment (duty). Hindi totoong it’s never too late for anything. Kasi madalas KAKAHINTAY NATIN NANG KAKAHINTAY, LUMIPAS NA pala yung tamang ORAS na tinakda para dun.

▬ One-sided love. And had we experienced it or not, alam natin na mahirap yun.

Isang karamdaman. Malupit at traydor na karamdaman. CANCER.

Nor do I need uniquely made stories para makaenjoy ng film.

Lights off, flash lights on.The room was alive with the lights radiating from cellphones, flashlights, glowsticks, etc. It was like looking at the universe. The lights were the stars scattered across space. I FELT ALIVE. God made the universe and it was BEAUTIFUL.
And in that moment,  I was filled with unexplainable joy.

Never Better: Hindi Mapapawing Apoy (Unquenchable Fire)

princepip:

Last night we concluded Ignite 2013, and it was really a blast.

The thing my ears we’re really fixed on, and because they kept on repeating this promise, was when God spoke and said that, “I will not quench this Fire.”

Being reminded that this is a PROMISE from God, and knowing my Father - He…

: How do I begin describing my Ignite 2013 experience?

margarettive:

I can’t. That’s how incredible it was.

It’s amazing how 2 years ago, I knew nothing about this conference. I live near Rob Imus, where our church is located, and have watched a lot of movies. Our church (well, kids church) is right beside the cinema. You won’t miss it because you pass by it on…

I can’t. That’s how incredible it was.” ♥
